Sephora Ariel Story Look Palette Review!
Hey True Believers!
It’s been a long while since I’ve last posted! I was so busy working on my Myth Masque costume that I had no time to blog! Well here I am again, with a makeup review for you! (Those of you on my YouTube, I’m in the process of editing videos so hang tight!)
Last weekend Sephora opened up sales to VIBs to purchase the new, limited edtion, Ariel Storylook Palette which is Volume 3 in their collection (The first two were Cinderella and Jasmine, which have since sold out, but you can still get them on ebay, but be careful!)
When it is re-released to the public later this month/early July you can purchase it here. It will be sold in select Sephora retail stores in August.
Some of you were super excited for me to swatch and review it for you, so here you go!
(This is a pic heavy post!)

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
What else you need to know:
“Dreams are Realities in Waiting.”
As with all of these palettes, I LOVE the fact that they pulled each shade from the actual film cells/movie.
All of the shimmer shadows were amazingly pigmented and buttery. The only one I had a real issue with was Flotsam, which I had to apply over and over and still wasn’t happy with the result. As you can see in the swatch, it isn’t very easy to work with and isn’t as pigmented as the rest of the shades.
The matte shades were a bit on the powdery side, but were buttery and pigmented. I had a problem with Sebastian showing up on me, but that’s mainly due to my skin tone.
Sick of Swimmin’ reminded me a lot of Lumi by Sugarpill but in pressed form and much more fine in texture.
Fins and Triton are BEAUTIFUL, and have bits of glitter in them so I’d suggest patting them on and using a sticky base underneath to get the glitter from doing major fall out. Your Voice also has bits of glitter in it, but it wasn’t as pigmented as the other two with glitter.
Treasures Untold was also very pretty and is a very pale pink with a gold infusion that you can really see around the edges when applied. It was hard for me to photograph that effect. In fact, some of the shades were stubborn to photograph even though they were very pretty in person. The swatches may look like there’s dupes in the collection, but trust me when I say each one is very different and unique.
