Scarlett Johansson’s 1990s Goth Look! W Magazine 4 Decades of Fashion Collaboration with VintageorTacky, Sokolum79, and Goldiestarling!

Hey True Believers!

Today I bring you something a little different from what I normally do. I know I’ve only ever done one other celebrity inspired look before (I went as Nicki Minaj to a holiday party a year ago. You can see that here.) but here’s another recreation for you! I saw the above image of Rooney Mara, Mia Wasikowska, Scarlett Johansson, and Keira Knight from the W Magazine 4 Decades of Fashion shoot and LOVED it so much, I asked some of my gal pals if they’d like to recreate it! Everyone was really into the photos as well and this collaboration was born! Very rarely do I get super excited about celebrity makeup enough to do something on my blog regarding it, so I was glad I was able to do this collaboration with 3 ladies I’ve looked up to in the makeup vlogging arena since before I started my blog.

Cora as Rooney Mara’s 1970s look:

Heather as Mia Wasikowska’s 1980s look:

Angie as Keira Knightly’s 2000s look:

We’ll all be together at IMATS LA this weekend walking around, shopping, catching up with other bloggers, vloggers, followers/subscribers, and makeup company friends, so please, if you see us, say hello! We’d love to meet some of you all!!

This also is my first YouTube video tutorial, which you can watch below: (Please Subscribe!)

I hope you all like it!

ps. That white stuff in my hair is from Sally’’s a spray in color..and it was horrible in my hair so I’m sorry it looks bad! LOL Also, my skin is still adjusting to the Paula’s Choice skin care I started a few weeks ago, and combined with the cold winter weather it’s resulted in dry flakey skin, even after exfoliating >.<.

Witchblade Inspired Look (Ver 2.)

Hey True Believers!

Recently I’ve had the honor of being followed by the creator of Top Cow Comics, Marc Silvestri,  on Twitter and my Facebook page and it prompted me to revisit my original Witchblade look which I wasn’t quite fond of when I had initially posted it last year. I knew one day I’d redo it, and so decided now would be a good time to do so! I always wanted to be a little more artistic with it and being so flattered that Marc liked my work, it gave me what I needed to get that inspiration for Sara’s, the current bearer of the Witchblade, makeup.

Sara is drawn having different colored stones in her Witchblade with a red one usually on the back of her hand and the blue (shown above) near her elbow. I chose to go with the red stone on this look, mostly because I didn’t have any blue rhinestones to work with lol.  I also collaborated again with my friend, Sara Richard, who provided the illustration of Sara wearing the makeup I designed. It can be seen near the bottom of this post!

I hope you like it!
